Capture Assembly Browser expansion state

I have 16 LOD that control 16 substitutes.  After switching LODs (updating component suppressions), all of the browser nodes revert to collapsed making it very time consuming expanding each component pattern to suppress different elements all over again for each LOD.  Is there a way to store/capture the browser node expansion states? I am running Inventor 2021.4

It seems to me like the view representations (DesignViewRepresentations) stored model browser state settings, because when I have one active, and have the browser set a certain specific way, then switch to another view rep to do some things, then switch back, the model browser is exactly in the same positions as before (when that view rep was last active).  I know there are ways to copy view rep settings do LOD reps, but I can't remember if there was a way to 'link' a view rep with a LOD rep.  It seems to me like there was, but I did not use LOD's that much, in favor of view reps and using BOMStructure settings to control BOM quantities.
