Calling individual imate & imate Composite

Hi Experts, 

I am trying to write a piece of ilogic code which gives me option of suppress any or all of the imate composite solutions available in a certain part. Problem is I don't know how to call the an imate composite.

look in Inventor help , programming/api help for iMateResult, this is the solution of two imates or composite imates, there is also a Suppressed property that can be set

Hi Herm Jan, 

I was doing some reading and some digging of code and realized that iMateResult is actually result or solution of imates or imate compoisites on two parts. My query was about if I could get Inventor to ask me to selct which imate composite Inventor is going to consider in making solution and suppress all others.

Imates have some preferences.

first is the order of the imates in the composite. f.i. mate, mate, flush

then there is the name of it, if the names are the same then that wil go first. if more names are the same, than there is an index. so, many ways to get the right one?

else you can connect two mates with the imateresult as the outcome, you can specify the imates that you want.

(no need to suppress the others)
