Browser Icons - Can the API change Them

When we insert a component into an Assemby, we a shown an icon to tell us the filetype (see screenshot)
Is there anyway to assign a custom icon to a specific component/occurence?

Yes, it's possible.  Fairly tricky, but
possible.
