Hello fellow Inventor nerd brains trust.
I have a client that needs to share a bunch of product part files to a BIM publisher.
Q. What would be the most efficient and future proofed method to batch process a selection of ipt files into simplified BIM files ? (rfa, ifc, adsk, or failing that dwg, stp, etc)
I have tested the simplification tool settings by dropping the ipt into a temporary iam file (an annoying requirement) and applying the de-featuring settings needed to protect IP. So this step is ready to go.
I am not an experienced programmer so please be gentle with your recommendations 🙂
