Attaching symbols to section lines

Hey

Is there a way to attached a symbol to a section line and then get the underlying section view name? We dont use the built in section view markers and are currently using a symbol to achieve what it needs to look like (you know, an industry standard drawing view marker that has been around for years...). I havent found a way of attaching it automatically to the section view line so the symbol is the current method.

unless there is an automatic way 😉

Sure. Please attached. I have currently set up a style that only gives me 2 termination lines for the section view each end. I place the view and then add a symbol to snap onto the point of the section view line. The sections are currently listed in alphabetical 'Section A-A' etc but we need them to be numberical 'Section 4-4' etc. Unless we can change it to bahave in a numerical way, i need to keep on using the symbols 😞

Hello @NachoShaw I don't think you can make that change automatically without using iLogic, will move to post to Inventor Customization Forum for best results.
