Adding tabs to clearance.xls

I would like to add custom holes to clearance.xls (e.g. rivnuts).  I have done this in the past with Inventor 2016 by adding the custom hole information to the "Ansi Unified Screw Threads" tab in this spreadsheet.  I would prefer to put these on their own tabs.  Is this possible?

I tested this with Inventor 2018 (just upgraded).  I edited the correct file scoped by my project and closed and restarted Inventor to force a re-read of the file.  I added 2 tabs, one for imperial and one for metric.  I edited the Sort Order in B1 and entered the correct codes for I, imperial, and M, metric, in A1.  The result is that the tabs I added were ignored.

I am not changing column titles or adding new columns.  Everything conforms to the other sheets.  Just wondering if there is something that controls what tabs are read an/or what is displayed in the dropdown boxes.

@rhenstenburg,

Unfortunately, Inventor does not have guidelines to customize the clearance.xls. Please log this wish list at idea station using below link.

@rhenstenburg,

Please ignore the previous post.

clearance.xls can be edited to add tabs. On adding new tabs, "Standard" list is updated to new tab name.

Thanks and regards,

I stayed with this after my initial post and found out that I could add tabs and that this does work.  My error was that my testing project was pointing to the wrong Design Data folder (stupid).  I knew this worked in 2016 so was worried that the capability was taken away in 2018.  It was not.

The one difference I found was that 2018 now checks the column titles.  I had some tabs with the column titles Mininum, Nominal and Maximum (cells C3, D3 and E3) for the hole sizes but now 2018 requires the wording Close, Normal and Loose.

I'm not sure whether the title in the merged cells C2 thru E2 is required to be "Shaft Diameters" or not (I was using "Hole Size In Sheet" but changed it back to "Shaft Diameters" when changing the other titles.  I also didn't test whether the presentation order in the Inventor Hole dialog is based on the order of the tabs in the Excel workbook or whether the "Sort Order" number in B1 is used.  I did note that the column title in A2 is ignored.  Right now, I'm happy with the way things work so I'll test these another day.
