Years after years, some problems with probes continue to hinder analysis and report creation (I currently use Inventor 2025.2, but I have been suffering from these problems since I started using Inventor, in version 2016.).
Here are some suggestions:
1. Correct the overlapping of the mesh over the probes. Often, the mesh passes over the probe, especially the Max/Min probes, hiding the values.
2. Allow manual positioning of probes on the screen, since in some cases, probes at nearby points overlap, making it difficult to read them.
3. Allow manual deletion of probes. Imagine creating 20 probes in a model, and on the last probe, you end up clicking on the wrong place, and when you try to delete it, you only have the option to delete everything and start over.
4. Improve the accuracy of probe positioning. Especially when idealizing bars, Nastran makes it difficult to select the ends of the line.
