Viewing Nastran results is extremely slow. I know there are existing requests to improve the performance. But in the interim, it would be great to be able to cancel results display loading, so I can make a change to the results parameters etc.
I've spent a large part of the last week doing nothing but viewing and analysing results from a fairly simple FEA study. If the system was more efficient, this would have been condensed down to just a few hours.
As it is, I have to wait a while (sometimes several minutes) before I can change a parameter, then display the results again.
I expect cancelling the results loading would be easy to implement, and would help to ease the pain at least some of the time.
Hope to see this (and many other improvements) in future releases of Nastran.
