unable to run nastran

Hello

My nastran in cad file is not opening.. the progress bar is stuck. How can I open my nastran? I can open the ipt file though.

So I increased undo file size to max.

but it is still not opening.

I suspect it is related to the "undo stack". No need to change the size. What you need to do is find the dialog that is probably hidden behind the Inventor window. Try minimizing and maximizing Inventor to see if the dialog pops into view. Or use Alt+Tab to shift to another app and then Alt+Tab to shift back to Inventor. After a few tries the dialog usually appears.

Once the dialog appears, click "No". That bypasses the repeated changing of the undo stack size so "No" is much faster, and I find that there is no difference.

While waiting for your answer, I just deleted the folder that contains the FEA data files.

I was able to run nastran.

I think what you said is what really happened. I will use your tips, when similar thing happens.
