We would like to report that the same element ID was confirmed in probes at different positions.
Displacement is different, so it seems to be a different ID.

Hi @makoto_kondoU3QFH

Welcome to the Nastran forum.

The probe is close to different corners of the same element. Is it possible that the probe is on the same element? If you move the probe slightly over the border to the neighbor element, does the element ID change?

Of course, the results are not constant over the face of the element. The probe shows the interpolated result based on the position of the mouse pointer and the value of the result in each node of the element.

Hi, John-san,
Thank you your quick replying.

I got it.

Why don’t you show the Node ID instead of Element ID.

That’s way, ID would be identified displacement one by one.

Hi Makato,

What you want to use is in the model tree, right-click on "Nodes > Query Display". Then the probe will show the result that is in the node. It does not do any interpolation as you move the mouse.

The Probe on the ribbon is used to interpolate the result between the nodes on the element. Therefore, it shows the element number that is used for the interpolation.

If you are comfortable reading English, you should look at  the PDF document attached to my forum post Suggested Reading - Tips and Tricks on the Inventor Nastran forum. Tip 51 shows the difference between the Nodes > Query Display and the ribbon Probe.
