Option to avoid Frame generated parts to automatically convert to beam elements

Hey Guys, 

Is there any setting where I can avoid Frame generated parts (typically a structure with L and Rectangular beams) to automatically get converted to beam elements when the structure is taken to Nastran In CAD  ?  I would like to go to the Nastran In CAD environment and then decide how my structures should be considered as - whether as Beam , Solid or Shell.

that is by default at the moment. This may be an idea submitting to the product via the IdeaStation here.

This might help. Every frame generated Inventor Model has a "Frame Reference Model". Try and suppress that and enter the NIC environment.
