I'm moddeling a support arrangement which combines steel and neoprene, as well as a pin arrangement. Since analysis for hyperelastic material is to be conducted through nonlinear analysis, I have run the model as such, and it runs without a problem. However, when reading results, for example stresses on the different parts, I found that stresses on neoprene do not make sense. The neoprene is in between two steel plates in height, and while in the adjacent plates I have stresses in the order of 15 MPa, the neoprene shows stresses beyond 500 MPa which is non sense. I run out of ideas to solve this situation and would apprecita if someone has any advice on this topic. The model is loades by a vertical uniform load on top only.

You only provided the assembly file, .iam. We need all the part files also. See What files to provide when the model is needed - Autodesk Community.

 

For the material properties, what are the units for the rubber materials properties A01 (118000) and A10 (474000)? My guess is the values are in Pa, but because the analysis was ran with the modified SI units, those numbers are used in the analysis as if they were MPa. Most likely, the rubber is as strong or stronger than the steel.

 

If the units of A01 and A10 are in Pa, you need to set the unit system to SI and run the analysis. That way, the coefficients of A01 and A10 will be in N/m^2= Pa.
