Design Optimization

Hello, dear colleages!

I try to find options of design optimization for Autodesk Nastran like Simcenter Nastran, but I don't find. Earlier in Editor you could see optimization optiuons, but now I can find only topology optimization options. Where can I find this options? Version 2020.

As far as I know, Inventor Nastran has never had design optimization. It only has topology optimization. (Topology optimization is one of the items mentioned in Simcenter Nastran).

But Inventor Nastran has never had an interface for creating or viewing the topology optimization model. You can use Inventor Stress Analysis or Fusion 360 simulation to perform topology optimization.

Thank you, John for your answer. I mean this options in Nastran Editor. It was in NeiNastran.

Now I can't see it. Can I create optimization somehow differently using Inventor Nastran or Nastran Editor for example using iLogic (i never used it), nastran commands or another features?

That is interesting. I did not know that optimization existed "long ago".

For whatever reason, it was removed from Autodesk Nastran. I will check, but I think there is no capability to do that currently.
