Can't select multiple bodies

No way to select multiple bodies (not surfaces, vertexs, edges, etc.) for a explicit dynamics analysis load.

It's a large assembly, and I don't want every object selected; just the solid bodies. I can do this by selecting one at a time; however, there seems to be no way to select multiple solid bodies at the same time.

Doesn't matter which file I open.

In large assemblies, this multiplies the workload greatly and makes our engineers doing this analysis unaffordable.

Hi @Jerry_Smith

Let me know if this is what you are asking for.

  • When applying a load, you can right-click in the Selected Entities box and choose a filter to Select Faces, etc. For some loads that make sense to apply to bodies, such as initial velocity, internal heat generated, etc, it makes sense to have a filter for "Select Bodies", such as shown below.
  • If that filter existed, it would be easier to select the bodies by clicking or by using a rectangle selection.
