When selecting a constraint from the Model Browser, it open the dialog box. Add a small button that zooms straight to the constraint in question in the main window,
Yes, I've used Isolate. it's great for isolating parts, but if I want to zoom into the constraint, this would be an improvement IMO. There is no reason why a drop-down box (for example) couldn't be incorporated to include options such as 'Zoom to first half' or 'Zoom to second half' in (rare?) cases such as you suggest.
Just realised. 2025 (perhaps others) sometimes has a 'Find in Window' option when right-clicking on the constraint in the browser. This is what I wanted, but I can't figure out why it sometimes it's not there.
Don't suppose anyone could shed some light on it's proper usage?
I'm using Inventor Pro 2024.3.3 and that right-click option you mentioned is there for me also, and has similar behavior as you mention (sometimes shown and sometimes not). I think its availability has to do with the current view, and how close the view already is to showing where it is, when simply hovering (pre-selecting) or selecting that constraint.
Both the 'Find in Window' and 'Other Half' are very handy here.
For example, if I just used the 'Find in Window' option, then the view is already where it needs to be for me to 'see/preview' that constraint by hovering it or selecting it, so that option is then not available. But if I then move that area of the model out of view, the option comes back. I didn't design that behavior, so I can not fully explain the rules about how it is supposed to work, but I'm not going to complain about it.
And yes, a button in the editor could be useful, since the view remains interactive while the dialog is open.
