New “Linear Sum” and “Angular Sum” dimension types (What's New in 2026)
This seems to be a bit incomplete to my opinion.
There is a difference of behavior selecting the centerlines or the holes selves dimensioning.
With the centerlines selected the feature does not work and with the holes selected it does.
From 2d drawing definitions seen the user dimensions center lines and not the holes selves.

I used my own add-in for many years now (Knoors Inventor Tools Dimension Add Pattern ) and I am happy to see this implemented in Inventor 2026.
I may understand why this part feature is chosen above the centerline, due to the linked model-dimension, but it could be confusing for the users.
Please implementation team have a look if this could be changed so that both work (Center lines also)
