Tube&Pipe 070: “TP Move/Restructure Browser Fittings”

Tube&Pipe 070: “TP Move/Restructure Browser Fittings”

Give us the option to move/restructure fittings in the browser. The results are random and you need to drag other parts around your fitting to restructure the browser pane. Adding them to a custom folder is arbitrary as well; it seems that the group you try to move can be moved only if the first fitting in the selection is movable. ?!?.

Hi, this has been an issue for about a decade now I think, and I know it has been submitted as an idea earlier but then archived.

Could we try to gather some more support this time please ? Really annoying thing...

Enable content center parts to be demoted.

Hi Jorgen

The issue you described is a Tube&Pipe specific problem, I have to say it's as designed. Please refer to below idea submitted by Salariu, it's almost the same.

Hi, I am not using Tube&Pipe, but I am using fittings found in Content Center.

Got it, if you're not using T&P, then you can use the workaround, after placing the first fitting placed from Content Center, then Copy & Paste, you will notice the difference of their icons in browser, standard part vs. Tees.

In addition to @jingyi.liu's suggestion:

Even though you aren't using T&P, it is still the cause of your problem.  If you never use T&P, then you can disable the T&P add-in and remove the need for the extra step he described.  If you sometimes use it and sometimes don't, then you can use the workaround he described.

Note that disabling the add-in prevents this problem on parts placed from then on - it won't fix ones that were already placed before disabling the add-in.

Hi, I disabled the T&P add-in and I think that actually solved the problem when placing new CC parts.
Many thanks!
