Sometimes you would like to measure the hole depth from the top to the point (so to make sure you have enough material left). Within the hole dialoge it's only possible to select the start of the bore cone:
I've also had the same request in the past, because I'm aware this would save alot of time, and human mistakes, for the designers and for the CNC prorgraming technicians.
Made this post in the past, only suggestion from autodesk was to post it in the ideas. If it had many likes, they would look at it and work on it.

@dan_szymanski ...if that's the case, then why is it listed as "Accepted" by Yijiang.Cai above, in [INVGEN-68018]. To me, that sounds like it's getting implemented.
I cannot publicly share or commit to any planned functionality. What I can do is ask for our community partners to join our internal feedback community to see for yourself what we are working on. There is a good chance you might see conversations or previews regarding ideas marked as "Accepted" or "Future Consideration".
So designer need to specify drill, size, drill tip angle and drill tip shape in the drawing so machinist can use correct drill for the correct drill depth.
Also the machine shop will have every drill sharpen correctly to spec.
