Being able to input temperature dependent material properties directly into the material browser of Autodesk Inventor would be fantastic. Currently I perform thermal and mechanical simulations on chip-scale packages with materials that have known temperature dependencies (i.e. Silicon). Instead of developing the CAD model in Inventor and exporting a STP file into Ansys for the simulations, I would like to stay in the same Inventor environment. I know Fusion has the capabilities of putting in advance material properties. I also know Nastran has the ability to put in temperature dependent material properties. I feel it would be more efficient to build databases in Inventor such that Nastran In-Cad can use said properties. This would save time and allow for easier workflows.
