Table text, allow subscript/superscript and stacked dims

Text within general tables could use more formatting power:

  • Subscript & superscript
  • Stacked text for tolerances or fractions
  • A way for some symbols to show up larger (eg. ∞)

We need to have Subscript texts in tables, the only way are typing H2O meaning H2O, or put a picture on top of the table (cheating), like in second line. If it's a normal text, we use Stack funcionality but it's not working in tables.

I have exactly the same problem. Is there any idea? @Anonymous: Have you solved the problem?

hi b.gloeden - NO there is no solution. I create the formula in word and use a grap tool and insert as a picture. A bad and very non automatic solution and a cheating way.

Thanks - that's a pity.

Would be nice to have both subscript (e.g. H2O) and superscript (e.g. x^2 for area like square inches)

@karl.lednik I agree with you. The ability to have the same functionalities as in AutoCAD® tables should be added to Inventor®...
For the time being a workaround is to insert a ole object.

Hope this helps.
