There are scenarios where cutting a v-groove in bends are necessary, while setting up the radius and offset differences is already implemented, what is needed after that is additional lines on the flat pattern specific for the v-groove tooling so when it's exported either manually or via the Nesting tool, the line is already in place for use by our CNC software.
There also needs to be support for Composite Aluminum Panels where every bend needs backrouting tool lines for use by the machine and every corner weld needs backroute lines on the profile of the corners so the outer layer of the composite material meets together instead of the inner layer like other sheet metal parts. Currently this work requires a whole team to do this manually in AutoCAD and it takes a lot of time away for fixes and updates. Support for more exotic sheet metal panels and v-grooves would improve the sheet metal tools drastically.
