In 3/16" thick aluminum, I have rectangle cutouts that measure 1.25"x.5". They are spaced 1.75"x1", so that there is 1/2" all around each cutout. They are staggered. I am having to make rectangular patterns within rectangular patterns within rectangular patterns (three deep) to make a screen.
A staggered array would solve this so easily!
The way I am currently doing this, I am afraid I am cutting through places where cuts already exist because I am inadvertently doubling center points, which of course takes the machine work twice as hard and adjustments take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. This way isn't a viable method.
