Show/Hide All Annotations in Assembly

Show/Hide All Annotations in Assembly

Parts already can show/hide all annotations...just right click the "Annotations" collector in the model browser.

But this is missing in the assembly environment!

Seems like the same functionality should also apply to visibility of all the "Origin" collector items.

Yes I realize I can go to View tab-> Visibility section->Object Visibility dropdown.  And I also realize this only saves about 2 clicks.

Thanks for outlining the Object Visibility dropdown method.  This helped me.

@SER4 @philip.wingate It looks that this context menu command is also available in assembly for 3d annotations. Does it make sense for you? I am using Inventor 2024. Which release you are using now? Thanks!

I am on 2023.2

If I right click the annotations folder in an assembly I only get repeat, expand all / collapse all / help topics.

If I right click the annotations folder in a part I get the same but there is an additional "hide all annotations" option.

I guess it must have been added very recently.

Yes, it is added in Inventor 2024. I suppose we can make it as implemented in 2024. Thanks!

Status changed to: Implemented

This idea has been implemented within Autodesk Inventor 2024. There is a new right click option that can be invoked on the Annotations folder that allows you to select "Hide All Annotations" or "Show All Annotations". Special thanks to everyone who cast a vote for it.

If you select all of the annotations, then right-click, you can turn on/off the visibility
