Show Ballooned items on current sheet for BOM

Show Ballooned items on current sheet for BOM

Add another another column next to the balloon column that is specific to the sheet and not the whole dwg.

This would be similar/supplemental to the other ideas here:

Hi Davis,

Apologies, but I don't follow...can you please elaborate?

How is this achieved? If I go to the 'Column chooser', how do I add a column that is specific to a sheet?

Does it matter what type of parts list is specified? EG: Structured / structured legacy.

Add an additional property display to the Balloon Style?

I'm lost...

Regards,

Daniel

The linked image is edited/photoshop. It would be nice to have the existing DWG balloon column and a new column that would be specific to the sheet. I'm not sure if this would even be possible. Just an idea. 😀

Ahhhh....you really got my hopes up that there was finally a solution to this issue. Never mind.

Here's my photo shop. Simple. Then the parts list data is exactly the same as other sheets (still based on the BOM), but its functionality is independent from other sheets, so when you expand assemblies on 1 sheet to detail & balloon, it doesn't expand them everywhere else in the drawing set.

From what I can gather, based on the forums, this was first raised in 2013.......maybe it'll take a decade?

Edited comment as the Ilogic Rule I posted had issues.

I think, it is a great idea with that extra column. and I would also VERY much like to have the "Limit part list items to sheet" implemented.
