I would like to see an adaptation of Shared Views which could be called something like Vaulted Views where a QR code can be added to a drawing enabling people to open 3D models from Vault. Shared Views have a limited life which is suitable for collaboration but would cause issues with my idea. I would suggest using Vault as the driver for this for revision control and storage location. The QR code would need to be unique to the correct revision shown on the drawing to ensure the Vaulted View is the same as the drawing they are looking at. It would be nice if the view representations could be incorporated with this so that when viewing the Vaulted View you can switch between them. The ability to measure and explode like Shared Views is a must. It would also be helpful if you could do an enquiry by clicking on a part to see things like material, weight, part number, etc.
