On shape generator it is a neat tool that obviously works by FEA. Instead of setting the Analysis as % of Volume reduction it would much more useful for us to set the acceptable Stress level. I know this could pose problems in the analysis as a single node with too high of stress could cause the analysis to abort. Perhaps the work around to my wish is to show the stress levels of the analysis to let us determine if the optimized shape is acceptable or not and not have to run an FEA on that generated shape.
