When rendering in Autodesk Inventor, it would be highly beneficial to have the option to set a dedicated Render Background that is independent from the modeling environment where constraints and designs are created.
Currently, both modeling and rendering share the same background settings, which is not always desirable. During the design process, a neutral background is often preferred for clarity and precision, while for renderings a more appealing background (such as a gradient, HDRI, or custom image) is better suited for presentation purposes.
By decoupling these two settings, users could work efficiently in a clean, technical workspace and still produce professional renderings with a visually attractive background — without constantly switching or adjusting settings.
