Section View and View Commands Should Operate Independantly
When performing a section view, during a peer review process, I may not be in the correct project, and the section will not be created. This prevents me from providing quick feedback, as changing projects or opening a new Inventor instance is required. In fact., no view options are available when observing a file from another project. Why should view options be limited?
This also applies to Ilogic programming. We need to create a section as a new drawing view holding it's own information. Linking to a parent view creates issues in automation and project files. Each drawing view should hold the information necessary for it to exist on it's own.
