It would be nice to be able to save probes in Inventor stress analysis so they don't need to be reapplied when the model is closed and reopened. When dealing with a dozen or more probes, it is tedious to have to reapply the probes and reset their positions every time the model is closed and reopened.
If the utility is created to save the probes for future use, perhaps it would then be only a small additional step to make the probe data, (i.e., position, stress values, displacement), exportable to a spreadsheet, which would be really nice 🙂
