Remove MS Excel from the system Requirements

I shouldn't need to buy another seat of software to utilize the full functionality of Inventor. At the very least add an opensource alternative.

Start using open source software where ever you can.

Inventor will install happily without Excel being present.  Only a few functions of Inventor look for Excel such as iParts/iAssem, and only when the user selects "Edit via spreadsheet" command.  99% of Inventor works just fine without Excel present.

@JMR_Silgan You can't publish custom content center components without it. That's a problem.

Agreed.  That would be one of the obscure 1% functions most people won't be attempting without Excel.
