Ciao,

If you wish to get some "vote up" I will suggest you to better explain your idea, and maybe, and English interface.

Think He/She'd like to see an "alignment to a contour" option to each patterned bit.

In this case it may worth to save sketch as a block, then copy and paste each/rotate them to suitable position...

Let's argue, if I'm wrong.

This is an odd situation because it's "patterning" the shape along a path, but it's not a regular pattern. They're irregularly spaced. So it's not actually patterning along a path, it's more like having a few random instances whose orientation is determined by the direction of the path at the point of placement. I would guess that this is a fairly niche need that would be better served with a workaround.

I agree with @Andrew2803 that a Sketch Block would be a good way of going about this one.

My other suggestion would be to use one Sketch-driven Pattern for the horizontal cuts and another separate Sketch-driven pattern for the vertical ones.

@eason_chou, would either of those work for you?

This idea by @Ben-Cornelius helped me see the light on this idea. Initially I thought it was very niche, and also a little ambiguous--I thought since it wasn't a regular pattern, there shouldn't be as much need to specify a path. But that's not true at all. In fact it's very conceivable that you could have several features which are along a path but not regularly spaced. And that's precisely what the Sketch-Driven Pattern should be able to handle.

So, giving this idea a vote. As well as Ben's which is sort of a duplicate, although his application looks very different.
