Project Geometry

Need the ability to project geometry to a sketch plane along a chosen vector (Axis, Model edge, sketch line...) or perpendicular to the source plane.  Currently the only option is to project perpendicular to the destination plane.  It's long overdue for this option to be available.

At this moment you can use Ruled Surface.

When using 3d sketch, then project to surface.

If you are in need, the option to do this is already in inventor, just not with 2d sketches.

The idea for a new feature is fine.

At the moment, the issue you describe has many possible solutions in Inventor.

I really don't struggle; Work arounds should only be a temporary
solution, not a permanent one.
