When manually adding trails to tweaks, it would be handy if you could do the same thing as when creating Joints, and hold Ctrl to select the face center (or corner center points if you want, whatever works for your application). The selection tool already seems to recognize the existence of these when you hover over the end face - but you are not allowed to pick. Holding Ctrl does nothing.
Use cases, at a minimum, include presentations for frames (creating trails on member axes), and for components with slots (see this forum post).
