The office I work in has thousands of drawing files in dozens of folders. Every time I need to save, open, place, reference, or reassign a file in inventor I have to hunt down the file path, as that is the option in the Inventor save dialogue box. Windows explorer has a search function as well as a recent document list among other advanced features which make navigation a cinch. Why not make the software play nice with Windows by adding a "browse" button like almost any other software, which opens up a windows explorer window for locating files?
p.s. This very form has a "browse" button. Why not inventor?
