Please bring Inspection Report Generation module like Solidworks Inspection

Hi Guys,

I have posted this idea since some of the enquiries as a reseller I get these days is for Inspection Report Generation. Where I have shown Manual Inspection features in Fusion 360. Yet the Quality Assurance Department in Mfg. industries would want to create a in-process Inspection Report for their Operators and then record the values manually (by hand). In this case Solidworks Inspection usually serves them well.

For people who don't know, SOLIDWORKS Inspection is a First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection software that streamlines and automates the creation of ballooned inspection drawings and inspection reports

To the Inventor development team. It would be helpful if the Inventor Pro in PDMC has a add-on that support in-process inspection report generation capabilities with inspection ballooning. Which would also be a good added selling point to position PDMC.

I completely agree with your point.

I’ve tried creating an iLogic rule within the drawing sheet to address it, but unfortunately the API for properties such as.Tolerance.Method,.Tolerance.Upper, and.Tolerance.Lower , or Property Label from tab Inspection Dimension are not exposed by Inventor API for object DrawingDimension.

It would be incredibly helpful if PDMC could support these attributes — it would significantly streamline QC worksheet preparation

If there any API Inventor can capture the result of both of this (Precission and Tolerance, Inspection Dimension for "Label" data) 

It would be good to create iLogic to captured all "Inspection dimension" to create tabel Inspection Dimensions in in QC Worksheet.
