Patterns - allow Suppres of Element:1 or the 1st. Occurance

Can't figure out why it's been left out option to Suppress the first pattern features (Element:1 or Occurance in part). It's frequently needed when you have part driven model with different layouts.

Yes there are (again) workarounds but all of them are a lot of work.

(Also on part it should show Occurance numbering for information when modeling "Occurance:1")

In Inventor 2017 I do not believe there is a way to suppress or hide the originating or first instance of a Rectangular Pattern.  In an assembly, you can make occurrence's Independent of the pattern to get around this limitation, but not at the part level.

When working with Skeletal sketches, you often will have a sketch feature that is Center Line of the part; being able to rectangular pattern the feature, then turn off/hide/suppress the center line feature would be very helpful by not requiring extra offset planes or multiple "move body" functions.

Please vote to have the first occurrence of a Pattern feature able to be hidden or suppressed while keeping the rest of the pattern feature visible.

I run into this every now and then when I pattern a pattern and want to suppress an element of the original pattern.  It suppresses that element in all the elements of the second pattern.

This is a basic feature of Creo and also SolidWorks (if I remember correctly).

For my pattern, I was able to do Delete Face for the first Occurrence!  Possible workaround.
