In one of the newer updates the option to pick from the three origin planes, XY;XZ;YZ, with a button when mirroring became available, see picture "MirrorPlanes.jpg"
It would be really useful to get a similar option when patterning. As in 99% of the time I am patterning along the x,y,z axis and it is rather annoying to have to scroll my model browser up to the origin folder.
I could just pick a random line that moves in the corresponding axis direction, but I have found that sometimes when suppressing and unsuppresing those connections get lost so I try to always use the principal axis when available.
