A powerful tool would be the ability to window select parts (or components) in an assembly with the ability to filter using part properties.
For example, you could window select parts by properties such as material, color, part number, stock number, description, etc.
I often find myself needing to select out certain parts by such properties without a way to do it.
Similar to the 'filter command in Autodesk.
