Currently, when users add a manual contact condition that overlaps with an automatically generated one, Inventor shows a warning but does not provide a direct way to manage the conflict.
We suggest the following improvement:
If a manual contact condition is added that matches an existing automatic contact, Inventor should:
- Display a warning message,
- Offer a button to overwrite the existing automatic contact condition, or
- Provide a shortcut to navigate directly to the existing contact condition for editing.
This would streamline the workflow and reduce the need to manually search for and resolve contact conflicts.
