Open/Place Part/Assembly Search Box

It would be nice if there was some kind of search box to navigate large folders of parts/assemblies

For goodness sake... please implement this!!! It is a simple windows function that would save so much time when placing components into an assembly.

Yes... this has been needed for some time now... I wish I would have thought of posting this!  Push  this trough Autodesk... it would help so much!

?? It seems that you are working with Vault. Why don´t you use the "Open fom Vault" dialog? There is the search option integrated. Regards Ralf

YES. The "Find" tool is awful. A regular old search would be fantastic and is sorely needed.

This feels like a simple feature that was overlooked for the monster that is the find tool.  I agree with @DRoam, the find tool is far to cumbersome for a simple file name search - that is all we are looking for.

In reply to @r_lehmann79, I need it for opening files from my work space.  Some assemblies have so many files it would be much easier to narrow it down with a run of the mill search bar.
