notch

So my problem is, I can notch the blue and green tube to the profile of the red tube, I can then notch the green to blue, but I cannot notch the blue to green tube, it always comes up with an error. It seems to be able to do 2 notches on one tube but unable to perform the same operation on the other.

Below is the error I encounter when trying to apply the 2nd notch to the blue tube.

Any ideas how this can be done without the need to manually remove the area that would be notched.
