The problem
When something goes wrong with for instance: an extrusion, I will receive a message that tells me that a problem has been encountered during my extrusion, which frankly is not very useful. I then investigate the error message further and I click on a link to a general troubleshooting page that does not help very much either, and I usually just figure it out by going to YouTube for help.
The solution (easy)
One idea, that in my opinion, would be far better than the current system, is linking a troubleshooting page that is specific to the process that failed. In the instance of an extrusion falirure, it would link me to a page that listed some of the most common reasons extrusions fail. This should be completely feasible and far superior to the current system that is in place.
The solution (harder)
Another solution which may be slightly harder to implement (but would be infinitely better) would be if the error message told you exactly why the operation failed. For example if your revolve failed because of a self intersection, the error message might say "Problem encountered during revolve: self intersection" and this would be an immeasurable improvement over not only the current method but the previous "easy" method too (and not even for much more work).
