Hi, in Inventor there are only three types of gears: spur gears, worm gears and bevel gears. But there are mare than this three types: Involute rack, Cycloid rack, Crown gear, Timing gear T-shape, Timing gear, Lantern gear, Hypocycloid, screw gears gear and others. For example rack and pinion gear are widely used but not exist in Inventor.
