Currently, there are only 3 options to export directly from a flat pattern. These are SAT, DXF and DWG.
C'mon. It's 2021. The translators are available, are there technical reasons behind these limitations?
Especially as the Inventor help says you can export flat patterns to JT and STEP.

It would be great to include MDB/PMI for manufacturing and inspection. We are coming somewhat close by model states in 2022. Still right now we have the limitation that we can only export one model state at a time, but this is likely a limitation of STEP and JT. I appreciate that model views are not supported by JT translator.😀
