I´m working with Inventor for only half a year, so correct me if I´m wrong. But this is what I noticed:
I´m building a countersink based on a sketch depending on the edge of a volume. Later I have to modify the volume by using direct editing. The position of the countersink often doesn´t change. When I want to edit the sketch, I don´t see the new edge of my volume, I just see the old edge. So I don´t know how to modify the sketch.
Experienced users may say "Don´t use direct edit, modify by using the sketch of the volume!", but I would like this function:
When using the direct editing, it would be nice to see a window with the message "There are sketches depending on this edge. Do you want to change the affected dimension of the sketch, or do you want the sketch to move with your editing?"
I hope you know what I mean.
