Mirror Reuse Maintain Angle and Direction

Whilst in an Assembly, if you try to mirror a flat cut plate about the origin planes and select to reuse the part, it doesn't match the same angle/direction of the plate.

For example, I have the assembly below:

I want to mirror the flat plate (Gold) across to the other side of the assembly, about the origin plane, whilst reusing, NOT creating a new file.

If I ok the settings above, I get a second copy of the same plate, but it has flipped over:

To correct this takes quite a few unnecessary steps, so it would be great if the Mirror command did want I expect in the first place. I.e. mirror the plate across the origin plane, reuse and end up in the same orientation.
