Middle Mouse Button Click to Hit OK/execute a Command

Coming from NX I remember a very useful feature to speed up your work where you can hit the middle mouse button to execute a command or hit OK on a dialog box. For example, you click where you want a hole placed with the LMB, and then you click the MMB to place the hole. Sometimes it can be convenient and faster to not have to move your mouse back to the OK button to execute a command or your hand to the enter key. It would be great if you could at least toggle this feature on or off in the settings.

Personally, I use a mouse with five extra buttons. I have mapped these to Enter, Escape, Return, Measure and Constraint.

@FLuijendijkYes, that can be helpful at times, it seems with commands that have been modernized like extrude for example.

But that method does not work with most commands or dialog boxes that come up (all the time). For example, it does not work with the hole, loft, joint, constraint, dimension, or pattern commands, just to name a few.

I encourage everyone that next time you use Inventor to try to pay attention to how many times you have to move your mouse to the okay, enter, or apply buttons when you could just click a mouse button if we had this feature.
