The measure tool precision option should either actually control precision, or should have a separate control for dual units. If I'm working in inches and I set millimeters for my dual unit, I shouldn't be seeing the same number of decimal places. For example, I measure something and it reads 1.06 inches. I don't need to see 26.924 mm. 26.9 would be more than enough for this circumstance.
