The name of a material (which is used for the material property) is often masked for IP reasons.
This requirement makes it hard for an engineering to select correct material for a part in Inventor. Separate lists must be used to decode the material spec behind the material name in the material browser. The ability to customize the view as described by this idea would remove the need to keep separate lists for our materials.
In our case the description contains the required information. Being able to show this column in the material browser would make our day.
