Make this problem go away for good

Apparently Inventor/Vault is having trouble tidying up after themselves, leaving out references to temporary files left from using the "copy design" feature in Vault. Now I know first hand that problems similar to this one has been around since the dawn of Windows as we know it today (some time in the mid 90's), but I would very much like this message to never show up again.

I would argue that this dialog can be helpful for users who do not use the Vault at all. I agree that it should not show up when using the Copy Design command via the Vault, but it is sometimes helpful to see if the link for a project no longer works.

I get where you're coming from, but as you point out; the C:\TEMP\ directory files shouldn't be included here.
